It’s me again, Elena, your virtual companion that gives you quotes on a daily basis!
Because one of the most frequent questions I received via email is regarding my favorite quotes, I thought this post will please you!
So let’s get to it!
“A day without laughter is like living in darkness; you try to find your way around, but you can’t see clearly.”Emily Mitchell
I like this quote a lot because it emphasizes one of my core beliefs, which is that we need to enjoy our lives as we only have one.
I believe we spend too much time being upset on anything and everything in the same time. We pay little to no attention to good things and we spend days thinking about some stupid phrase someone said at a random point in time…
“Being beautiful has little to do with looks, and everything to do with your soul.”Melody Carstairs
This is one of my favorite quotes because it spreads the idea that physical beauty should always be overlooked compared to inner beauty. Of course, I know that in our world, this happens not so often since we are bombarded with skinny sexy models, this becoming an unrealistic beauty standard.
Okay, I’m not going to lie that a beautiful body is beautiful, but when you’ll get to 60, what should you do? Some of the most beautiful people I know are over 60 y/o.
Sure, we should pay attention to our physique as well for health purposes, but having an X weight or Y body dimension shouldn’t be the beauty standard.
“You can become anything that you want to be but the goal is for you to become your best self.”Sunday Adelaja
So this one is my number one so far. Why? Simply because nothing comes can be achieved without some work. You cannot laugh if you don’t intend to be happy and you cannot be beautiful if you don’t work on your mind and body for that to happen.
I know we tend to get sooo competitive with others and we forget that our own self is our friend and enemy. That’s where we should be focusing on…
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my thoughts about these quotes!
Until next time,
Love you all!
