I heard this quote paraphrased by a comic. He said it this way; a man was teaching his son about male/female relationships. He told him, ” if you are arguing with your wife, you can be right, or you can have peace.”
LOL
One of my favorite Heinlein quotes.
This is very true, but I wish we could have both. It would be nice.
I do!
Why not both!!!
No need to worry.
Everything is possible
Reblogged this on The Reluctant Poet.
You can have both. I do. As a single, independant woman, living alone part time and part time with my son, I have total peace in my home and total freedom in my life. Freedom is, however, up for definition. My freedom is being my own boss, not having a partner who could potentially restrain me in life. I have commitments with family that bind me but they don’t diminish my freedom or impair it so whatever your definition of freedom is, you can, indeed, have both but you have to make sacrifices. My sacrifice is being alone, with no partner in my life which is incredibly lonely but I have peace 🙂
Ouch! True. 🙂
